    EVGA 970 SSC-Thermal Throttling?

It's not your card's fault, it's the game's fault. You see, several games have bad optimization. For example, you can play a game like lets say Shadow of Mordor which has decent graphics and get 60 fps and then play another game with worse graphics but get lower fps because the game is not...

    Does this system work?

Skylake is not worth it at the moment due to awful price/performance ratio. Go for a Xeon 1231 v3 which is basically an i7 4790 with just no integrated graphics which you don't need anyway. You still have 4 cores and 8 threads with hyperthreading and the exact single core performance of the...

Vibrations from Chassis Fan damage PC Internal Components?

Fans vibrate because of the way they're attached to the case, nothing to worry about. Newer and more expensive fans have rubber grommets integrated near the place you screw the bolt so they won't vibrate but as I said you have nothing to worry about.

Connecting EVGA psu to Asrock H97M anniversary

The manual will explain what every port/slot on your motherboard is, it won't tell you "grab that cable from your PSU and put it here" although it will list lets say the CPU power slot as "CPU Power". You have like 4-5 cables only to connect from your PSU to the motherboard and I listed them above.

Connecting EVGA psu to Asrock H97M anniversary

The cables that definitely need to be connected are the 24pin which powers the motherboard, the VGA cable which powers the GPU depending on the slots (it may need a 8pin + 6pin or two 8pin), the CPU cable which will power the CPU and SATA power cables which will power the HDDs and SSDs. In...

Computer freezes at random when doing low to idle CPU usage tasks

As there's no clear answer to what's the problem you can try monitoring your CPU clock and usage. If the usage goes to 0% when your PC freezes it may be a faulty CPU. Most of the time PC freezing is a CPU or GPU problem. From what I can see you didn't mentioned a GPU, are you using the...

    Building a Gaming desktop

Everything else is powerful and high quality except your PSU. I wouldn't trust a PSU like that powering all those expensive components. If it goes down it will take everything with it as well. I recommend the EVGA Supernova G2 series. Built with high quality components and have 10 years...

Building a pc for about 750$

I used to help people in this forum A LOT in the past but I left for this exact thing. People keep fighting with other people all the damn time. Post your damn suggestion to the original poster, write why you chose each piece of hardware and let him decide. STOP looking at other peoples...
