    I was also wondering if that was a problem, that maybe there's also a bottleneck since the GPU's are so old. (Who knows when this global shortage will end, I've been waiting ages to try and get a chance to upgrade). I'll give this a try tomorrow, thanks!

    Ummm, thanks... As I mentioned, BIOS is updated to the newest (ie 3501), and GPU drivers are also updated.... Quote from my question "All drivers have been updated and BIOS is on the latest release."

    Ok, I have sorted it out! So I did a fresh install of Windows, wiped out everything and started again (I had suspected some problematic installs and file references in the last install) and then ran the games again... the system was definitely more stable but cranked out again on the games...
