Games stutter (with NO fps drop!) when I have a video or stream playing on second monitor. Please help me friends!

Update: Playing in Fullscreen fixes it. Borderless Windowed is a no-go. Kind of makes using two monitors impossible when in Fullscreen though. Lots of screen tearing in Overwatch, even with a consistent and steady framerate. V-Sync on even produces tearing, so...no matter what I do I am screwed.

And again, ZERO frames dropped. Weird :/ Even the animated banners of subreddits cause this issue.

I tried spanning the two monitors off the one GTX 1080. Max refresh rate I can get is 60Hz so I can't really keep that or notice if there is stutter since it looks stuttery to me lol. Some of you are saying there could be a conflict between the 1080 and 780 though. But like I said, I've tried...

This has happened to me ever since I got a second monitor. At first, I only had a GTX 780, and I ran both monitors off of that. I recently acquired a GTX 1080. Main display runs off the 1080, second off the 780. The issue persists. I was told once that it may because the monitors have different...

First Build for a Friend, How's this look?

I was thinking the higher wattage will be better for a couple years down the line for SLI and maybe a few more smaller upgrades.

Looks good, seems like a great final build. Surprisingly really cheap for the power it has. Thanks for all the help!

Good to know. My G.Skill heatsinks are huuuuge (BUT THEY LOOK TOO DAMN COOL). But anyway, does anyone see any way to maybe shave off some cost? Here is the build currently, and luckily the CPU just got cheaper on Amazon :D : PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks...

Thanks. I don't remember people in general ever being this helpful before.

Hmm. Is there any noticeable difference between G.Skill's Ares and Ripjaws? I am not well versed in timings.

Oh damn MSI has a higher factory overclock on that 770. Does MSI typically have good cooling? I went with EVGA mostly because of the overclock and knowing their cooling is top notch. I might browse other cases around that Cooler Master price. I really hate Cooler Master aesthetically.

The budget was $1000 but it was okay to go a little over for him. Are there any 750W PSU's you know of that are roughly the same price and good quality? Not sure if he would SLI but better safe than sorry.

First Build for a Friend, How's this look?

I have had a gaming for PC and my friend was interested in getting one soon, so I am helping a bit. I was wondering what you all thought of this: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3nml7 It seems very well priced for what you get out of it. He wants to be able to run most games on high-ultra, which...
