I did look at it. It actually was my first choice. But first of all, I really don't like the situation with the memory allocation (yes, I know that recent tests showed that it's still a great card but I'd rather not risk), and secondly, 290x is on sale in NCIX for CAD 349. Sounds like a good deal.
