gosh, 3 excellent choices. I have always been an intel fan. The highest resolution I would be playing is at 1080P and have no intentions of overclocking. Which makes me lean more toward option 1. However option 3 seems to give me more for my money but once again ive always used intel.

Can someone help me put together the best desktop with gaming as focus for $800. I do NOT need any peripherals such as monitor, keyboard, mouse or OS. I only need a suggested list of components. Thank you!!

blah maybe you're right it does seem like overkill. I guess I looked at charts and see what gets the highest score and want it. Realistically Ill be gaming and school work not much more. Maybe occasionally editing here and there but nothing very often. The rig is mainly gaming focused
