Will using a USB KVM degrade keyboard / mouse reponsiveness when gaming?

I forgot to mention that I'm only going to use it for keyboard / mouse switching. I won't use it for displays as my monitors can switch between two HDMI inputs anyway, so I'm not concerned with any display performance. I also don't think switching in the middle of a game is going to be a huge...

Will using a USB KVM degrade keyboard / mouse reponsiveness when gaming?

I'm looking at getting a KVM to switch between my PC and work laptop when at home, so I don't have to remote desktop and so on. Can get a KVM (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Aten-CS22U-2-Port-Cable-Switch/dp/B002NTIZCG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1453376691&sr=8-1&keywords=usb+kvm) for £20ish from...

Geforce 8800GT as a temporary card?

I've just setup a new build, with a I7 6700 and ASUS Z170-P motherboard, and currently do not have a video card to install with it. At the moment I'm just using the Intel HD530 integrated graphics while I save up for a video card. I've got a Geforce 8800GT hanging around from back in the day...

    Re-using a CPU heatsink / fan

That's what I suspected too. The heat sink looks a bit like http://www.thermalright.com/html/products/cpu_cooler/true_spirit_120m_bw_reva.html?panel=1 I'll give it a go on the weekend and see what happens. I'm assuming it'll still be sufficient cooling for an i7?

    Re-using a CPU heatsink / fan

I do have the fan. It's a single 120mm although I don't see why a second fan wouldn't fit the other side

    Re-using a CPU heatsink / fan

I've finally dismantled the old computer. Unfortunately I can't identify what model heat sink it is, just that its thermalright. Anyone know a way of identifying a heat sink? Thanks

    Re-using a CPU heatsink / fan

So if it attaches to the motherboard fine, and the heat sink makes contact with the cpu I should be fine? And if it doesn't use the stock cooler? Cheers

    Re-using a CPU heatsink / fan

I've just ordered an i7 6700 (non K), and am looking into what to do about cooling solutions for it. I've got a pretty big Thermalright heatsink/fan hanging around that's on a socket 775 Core 2 Duo, and I'm wondering if this will fit on the socket 1151 board, and if so is it safe to do this...

ASUS Z170-P and Antec HE500 PSU

Thanks. Out of curiousity what would make it do risky using the current psu. Is it simply the age of it, or would it just not work?

ASUS Z170-P and Antec HE500 PSU

So the age of the psu is likely to be something of a problem ?

ASUS Z170-P and Antec HE500 PSU

I've got a question regarding using an oldish Antic HE500 PSU that I've got hanging around. I've ordered a ASUS Z170-P motherboard, and an I7 6700, and was wondering how compatible this PSU will be? I know I'd have to disable the C6/C7 states in the BIOS as the PSU wouldn't support these, but...
