Is there a 300 series chipset Mobo compatable with an I7 7700k?

As far as I know the processor detection pins for the i3 CoffeeLake series uses the same ones from the i5 and i7 from KabyLake generation, so it will work as far as I can see but not worth the risk as you can brick the board if the mod goes wrong.

You can if you 'mod' your BIOS but you will have to know how to use hardware BIOS programmer to flash or borrow your friend's CoffeeLake CPU to flash modded BIOS.

My Lenovo X130e switches off when the battery is inserted even though it's fully charged. I'm forced to take the battery out as it won't switch on even though it's plugged into the charger. When I take out the battery and use the charger only, it works fine. Do Lenovo batteries have short...

Would a graphics card VRM explode affect my Enermax Revolution 87+ 850W PSU?

Basically, 1 month ago my GIgabyte GTX 750 Ti exploded in spectacular fashion which was due to the failure of the VRM's. I got a new GTX 750 Ti as a replacement and I'm wondering in the long term if my Enermax Revolution 87+ 850W PSU would be affected in anyway.
