I tried waiting for long but the external drive will disconnect automatically, only after that then it will load. The drive shows in File Explorer as "E:" but doesn't display any capacity

File explorer also loads very slowly when it is plugged.

Disk management won't load when it's plugged, it's all grayed out and stuck on "gathering disk information". It will only load when i unplugged it.

Is there any way that I can access that drive and retrieve the files before it completely fails? Cause that important files are only placed on that drive
