Question Gigabyte z390 WiFi pro not recognising samsung 870 sata ssd

I've tried all ports now. I noticed the 870 2TB isn't in the supported list on Gigabyte website but 500TB 870 is. That doesn't explain why the board picked it up twice though. I've tried leaving AC power off for a day and restarting to see if it was a weird power issue but no.

Question Gigabyte z390 WiFi pro not recognising samsung 870 sata ssd

I have just recently purchased a Samsung 870 SATA SSD for some more space. I have a Gigabyte aorus z390 pro wifi mobo. I also have 2x m.2 Samsung 970 pro ssds 1x 500 gb and 1x 1gb, and an HDD hooked up to sata0 port. These have all worked fine for a whole now. The 870 was recognized initially...

    CPU Bottlenecked in BF4 (GTX 780, i5 2400 3.1ghz)

Update: Earlier this week I installed a 3770k @ 4.7ghz .. moved the neck right over .. GPU is now at 100% in BF4 (Ultra, 2xMSAA, PPAA off), CPU around 70% usage .. average framerate has leaped from around 40-70 to well over 100 (sometimes a solid 150 fps) now. Thank you for your help Andy B

P8Z77-v DELUXE / 3770k will not overclock (yes another one)

So I have solved this by going through the settings again, and I'm not sure which settings I changed but they were fairly basic fundamental ones, must be just different for the newer bios. I will repost screens of my settings when I get the time. BTW. I've only done short burns (15min~) on...

P8Z77-v DELUXE / 3770k will not overclock (yes another one)

I have just bought and fitted a P8Z77-V Deluxe (second-hand) board, and a new 3770k which I delidded and fitted a Noctua DH-14 to. All seems to be running fine at stock frequency, however the only thing that seems to be actually changing when I change it in the BIOS is the vCore, which I...

    Asus P8Z77-V Won't Overclock

Did you ever work out the problem with this? I am having the same problem as you have had, only with a 3770k. I have flashed the bios twice using EZ Flash to the latest version, any changes to multiplier only affect the TARGET speed rather than the ACTUAL clock speed. Temps are very low @...

    CPU Bottlenecked in BF4 (GTX 780, i5 2400 3.1ghz)

Thank you for your response. It does run quite well most of the time, I just still notice a slowing down when the framerate drops between 50-70 FPS on some maps .. so upgrade the CPU even though it is running at 100% vs the GPUs 70% will not see this problem alleviated ? How do you tell my...

    CPU Bottlenecked in BF4 (GTX 780, i5 2400 3.1ghz)

I just recently purchased a GTX 780 (DC2OC) and I also just got a 144hz/1ms screen to get the most out of the FPS it generates for Battlefield 4. I notice now that I have 2 screens that when I play my GPU usage absolutely maxes at around 70%, while the CPU is necking at 98-100% the entire time...
