    Ryzen 7 1800x for rendering?

    Recently, I want to upgrade my cpu for a faster rendering on arnold renderer, I read about it, that the arnold renderer are cpu-based renderer, I wonder the 8 core of Ryzen 7 would preform better than the I7 8700k? Cpu temperature is also a thing I concern. Thank You
