so i just got a used msi gtx 970 4gb and im bench testing all my games to see how it beats my evga 1050ti ssc 4gb ... in every game and test the 970 blows the 1050ti out of the water...but in gta whit the 1050ti i was getting avg fps about 120 on high settings but the 970 at same settings im...

i have an old amd a10 5800k but i always use a graphics card whit it i never used the integrated graphics..so i took out my 1050ti to use the integrated graphics just to see but it wont open any game i get open gl errors and direct x 11 required errors but i have it all installed no updates i...

for instance would a ryzen 5 1500x be good for 1080p gaming at 60 fps and some video editing

ok so i got a gtx 1050ti ssc thats it nothing else i still need all other parts but for cpu im lost i know i want ryzen but im not sure what...some ppl told me the 1200 is a lil to weak so i was gonna grab a r5 1600 if i can afford it but i read its a bit overkill so would would be a good ryzen...

that's the answer i was looking for ..thank you guys... i would of wasted my money

right but like i was explaining to the other guy if i wanted to save a bit for lets say a ssd maby a better case...would the ryzen 3 1200 still be a good upgrade or is the ryzen 5 1600 the only real way to go

forget what i just said it made no sense ...so the r5 1600 is the way to go..but if i was to save a bit and just go whit the r3 1200 am i still looking a good upgrade ..or is it not worth it until i get the r5

even if it was only the ryzen 3...for intents whit my set up i run gta 5 at normal to high and get 30 - 40 fps and bf1 at the same fps whit ryzen 3 ..and 16 gigs you would say that's still huge compared to the ryzen 5 1600 you recommended

is the ryzen 3 a major upgrade from the a10

also both of you are recommending 16 gigs of ram ..is 8 like a really bad choice
