It should be a standard 8 pin cable which enters your PSU and the other end is 8 pin as well. (same goes for the 6 pin ones). If you don't have those cables, then you can try to buy such.. or spend for entirely new PSU.

If you are checking the values in GPU-z, keep in mind the memory multiplies by 4. So if you see your memory as 2000 in GPU-z it is infact 8000
