I have a similar thing on my threadripper, but mine uses rgb and shows thread load, disk & network I/O and memory usage as bar graphs.

The air2 is nowhere near a version 2, it's nothing but a minor revision. Meanwhile I'm still waiting for full functionality on the nreal light, the 3DoF tracking of the air is not enough for proper AR.

It's likely that having multiple fans would be causing hot spots, just remove all but one plane of fans and leave the opposite end vented
