    well the amazon cable has DVI-D dual link regardless of what they write but if the intel HD 3000 chip supports it then how doesn't work on my monitor (no signal ) does it mean the cable is damaged ??

    so can it be only a GPU issue ( Intel HD graphics 3000) , because it is an integrated GPU it might not be as evolved as newer GPU's ?? Or does this cable indeed go from Display port( computer /GPU) to DVI-D ( monitor)

    But the really annoying thing is my monitor (link above) S23B300B supports DVI-D (Dual link ) input and if i understand correctly this cable goes from display port(computer) to DVI (monitor) so what seems to be the problem ??
