    EDIT: Oh wow! All my files from precrash are still there in that drive. However, I can't access the user folder on the drive and explore my old files. I need to enable myself permission but the drive is write protected... I have all this backuped anyways, so I don't care if solution is to wipe...

    I was absolutely using it as a storage device for sure. I was using over half the drives space and my WD before the crash
