After talking with tech support, it appears there is a compatibility issue with my motherboard with this soundcard(im not sure if this is 100% or not) but I will be returning this card and trying another.

Ok, I found a cord and the 8 pin slot on my Mobo.(I must be blind). Now my PC turns on and is booting on and off.

I do not have an 8 pin connector or spot on the Mobo for one. Are you referring to the ATX from the power supply? If so then yes. I have everything from my case plugged into my Mobo.

I'm not sure, I bought the processor not knowing it wasn't compatible, it didn't fit in perfectly so I figured I should replace it. This 1150 fits but for some reason not staying on when i hit the power switch to turn the PC on.

Hello, I just recently bought several upgrades to my PC and needed a new case as well to fit this new hardware. The problem is I have everything plugged in correctly and unplugged and replugged them in. My PC powers for about 1 second-all the fans and lights come on- then turns off.. my specs...
