    Best Water Coolant?

If I were to use fluid xp nano to fill my system, I would have to spend over $100 a year on fluid because my system takes more than a quart to fill and I flush and fill with new coolant more than once a year. So, moon, you can spend a 100 bucks on the special crap to fill your loop, we'll spend...

Lend me your Liquid Cooling experience....

Maintenance: I usually take every thing apart, clean it and replace the hoses at least twice a year. For some reason no matter what I do something always starts to grow inside the loop. A little biocide works for a while but not forever. You can jump the psu by connecting the green wire to any...

    Upgrade Path

If you can sell your GTX280 and get a GTX295 for a reasonable price that would save you money that would have otherwise gone into a new power supply that you can put into a i7 upgrade for later. Or you could see if you can upgrade your 280 to a 295. I think I heard bfg does upgrades now. Or I...

    Upgrade Path

Well, the bfg GTX 280 I just looked at on newegg recommends a psu of 575w at 42amps. I'm not sure 56amps will be enough to run two of those cards at full tilt along with your overclock on the e8600. If it does you'll be running the power supply near the max. You can always try it out and if you...

    Upgrade Path

If you bought your GTX280 from a vendor like evga that does upgrades I would see if you can upgrade your 280 to a 295. Otherwise I'd go with another 280 if your motherboard can handle SLI. Oh and a stonger psu.

New Heatsink, 27c idle, jumps to 45c idle - what went wrong?

Some coolers just don't work well. I'm not sure about yours. You could try reseating it with some new paste but I'm not sure that will help. Tidy up your cables. Make sure there's plenty of air flowing from front to back through your case. If the heat can't escape the case it just keeps building...

New Heatsink, 27c idle, jumps to 45c idle - what went wrong?

Thermal equilibrium is my guess. At the start, everything in your case is room temperature. After a while, everything in the case comes to thermal equilibrium with the heat put off by the cpu, so your idle temp increases. The same thing happens with my watercooling setup. At boot idle is around...

    Rate my planned WC loop...

The 655 IS overkill for a small loop like that, but I have one on my small loop and I wouldn't use anything else. If you get one I suggest the variable speed model. And you'll need steel hose clamps because it's a super high pressure pump. The MCP355 would also work well.

    GA-X48-DS4 and mushkin memory

Run memtest on each stick one at a time to see which stick is bad and then rma it. Or you might try setting the memory timings and voltages manually. Most of the time the bios doesn't get it right.

    PC TEMPS

They're fine. You're about 30c under the thermal limit of each of those.

    Cooling Problem

CPU thermal limits are around 70-80c and video card thermal limits are around 100-110c so you're ok.

    LN2

You'd need a heatsink millled for you. And a license to buy ln2. And a **** ton of money to keep it going cause that stuff evaporates pretty fast.

    $1,200 tower down teh drain???

Try spelling it 'the' instead of 'teh'. That should fix it.
