Thanks, at least I'm not wasting any more time trying to 'fix' it. Using Standby is a workaround.

I am new to overclocking and have a P35-DS3R Rev 1.0 Bios F10 with E6750 2 x 1GB Crucial Ballistix PC6400 . It runs at 333Mhz FSB at stock and I overclocked to 400FSB at 1:1 .. system stable for 12 hours running Prime95. I changed the multiplier to 2.4 so RAM running at 960Mhz , again stable ...
