I've gone with the Acer Predator XB321H. 32 inch, 60 hz, 3840 x 2160 (4K), 4ms, 16:9, IPS. $1,599 on amazon. Yikes. I'll post review response on this thread after 3 months' usage.

I play Skyrim & Skyrim SE, Fallout 4, Civ vi & WoW. With that in mind, would 4k @ 60hz be better than 1440p @ 144hz? Both with g-sync. Thanks! Edit: or should I forgo g-sync? I have a Intel Core i7 6700K, 16GB DDR4 2666MH, 750W EVGA SuperNOVA (750 B1), & GeForce GTX 1080 8GB (EVGA ACX 3.0).

What is the current top monitor to complement a GTX 1080? G-sync seems to be a prerequisite for this, as does refresh rates above 60hz. Right now the ASUS Swift PG348Q and the Acer Predator X34 appear to be the top choices, but I am not all certain between the two and I don't know if there are...

I did it and it runs like a beauty. No power problems. The issue is that it doesn't fit the chassis and I leave the opening side slightly covered by the lid. Sorry, but that's the answer.
