    Question HDD space had shrink after reboot during fragmentation

    HDD - IDE Samsung SP0411N. Nominally - 40 Gb, really - 37.2 Gb. During the fragmentation PC suddenly rebooted. After it, HDD space shrinked to 31.5 GB. Firstly I thought that the rest Gb's become unallocated space, Disc Manager say it's not ( Hot to restore missing Gb's ?

    All right then, can someone explain to me how it technically possible to PC to switch itself on after I puting the 4pin poer supply plug to another 20pins in the main power connector ?

    Motherboar : Gigabyte GA-M770-US3 rev. 2.0 PSU : Aerocool VX-600 So, the issue is that PC turn on after 4pin from 20+4pin connector plugs in-out of the motherboard. It should be done for 4-5 times to turn pc on. Whats wrong with m.b. or p.s.u. ??
