I probably could wait, though I have no intention in lowering my graphics settings to recieve perfect frames in raids. I think I will end up upgrading my CPU. do you think I'd see a tangible performance boost, particularly in raids?

Indeed, though the issue is that with MMOs such as World of Warcraft they tend to be pretty CPU bound. Really old engine that benefits more from single threaded performance than most games. Hence my concern.
