You might not be able to play those games smoothly at full resolution but if you had to choose from the two, the Toshiba one would be a better buy as the GT740m on the Toshiba is stronger than the Asus' GT820.

There are those pros and cons for each systems. PC being better in performance but consoles cheaper and are suppose to be build just for gaming. PC can run many different tasks compared to consoles. GTA 5 for PC will come out on Steam around Fall of 2014
