    So I finally went out and got a 3 to 2 prong adapter today. I first tried it just on the amp power and the buzz went away! I don't know a lot about ground loops, but I'm surprised this changed anything since they are plugged into the same outlet. Perhaps someone can elucidate me? Anyways, thanks...

    It could be... but when I use the amp with my laptop it has worked fine so I doubt that... I appreciate your suggestions though

    Hmm that's an idea, but the rear audio output jack is built into the motherboard... there is no opportunity for a loose connection there. Unless you were thinking about something else?
