    I reformatted the system. Worked well for a day and again started with the problem, only more frequently. Could this be an issue with the GPU? Should I try to change it with a new one?

    Would it possible through the use of a proxy server? If I put up a proxy server on a RPi and route all internet traffic through it, that should enable to track the data usage, but would it allow to find which connected device is consuming the speed?

    It was in fact in a very scary state. Took all the components apart, cleaned them up and put them back in. Now it works fine. Though I'll definitely be putting in new cooler in a couple of days. Thanks.
