Where did online ASUS Firmware downloads go?? RT-AC56U

I have a repeater (RT-AC56U) that is in the middle of a firmware upgrade, and it's unable to access the online firmware file on it's own. The repeater prompting me to upload the latest firmware, but the ASUS site just has a utility program which are instructions on how to download apps from the...

    ASUS RT-56U Log File

I'm wondering if my son setup a gaming server. He says he didn't, but wondering if his friend did. Any suggestions? Can I shut off the traffic somehow?

ASUS RT-56U Getting Connected MAC addresses

Yes - I'd assume I would be able to still filter by MAC address at the main router.

ASUS RT-56U Getting Connected MAC addresses

When I look at the 'Client Status' section of the Network Map, it gives me a list of MAC addresses. The problem is I have five connections, but four of them are piled into one MAC address. This is for a home, not a business. Is there a way to get a list of all the MAC addresses that either have...

MAC address not unique to device

I'll look into WDS a bit more. I have a lot of patents at the PHY layer, but not familiar with anything above that.

MAC address not unique to device

Yeah, I have less than ten devices, and the MACs are mutually exclusive when I inspect them manually. I do have a repeater attached. What's odd is that it doesn't show in the network map, I have to assign a static ip address to it and connect to it directly. I can't picture how a repeater...

MAC address not unique to device

I realize how a MAC address works in terms of each device connected to a network has a unique MAC address that is associated with the device from it's manufacturer. What I am seeing on my ASUS router is that three devices are sharing the same MAC address, the GUI even highlights a number icon...

    ASUS RT-56U Controlling router remotely

Is there some way to edit the router's settings from a remote location (outside of the router's intranet?) I'd like to be able to reset a router or repeater (each set to 192.168.1.1, .2) and adjust things like time settings remotely.

    Recommendation needed for ac router

That screenshot helps - I wasn't quite clear from the manual that the guest account supported that. Thanks. Overall, I'm not sure why they would define QoS in terms of IP address as opposed to MAC address.

    Recommendation needed for ac router

I have a teenager in the house who is a gamer. We've built a pretty awesome system, unfortunately I don't have time to police him on his cool new system, and it's too tempting to ignore on a school night. I'd like to control QoS and time enabled on a network, and setup multiple networks on a ac...
