already tried multiple times, if I change anything with both sticks it resets

G skill aegis 16gb kit 3200 cl16, mbo is asrock b450m hdv r4.0, in a1 both sticks are running at 3200 no problem, when I add second it resets it to default. Everything worked fine with 2300x on 3200mhz, after swaping cpu, ram was reset and showing in windows 7.9 usable out of 16(tried everything...

with 1 stick(tried both sticks) xmp works without problem, with 2 I can't change anything, everything must be on auto, if it's not on auto it resets, tried 1866mhz that doesn't work too

Changed cpu from ryzen 3 2300x to ryzen 5 1600 af today and can't get ram on any speed other than default. worked perfectly on 3200mhz until I changed cpu, tried manually, tried with xmp but if I change anything it won't boot, it only boots when it resets settings.

I plan playing new singleplayer too but with singleplayer I don't mind stable 70-80 fps(so 1% lows are mostly 60's) and I can't find much on this swft309 model, nor will it be adequate for some heavy oc in near future

I was watching gamers nexus thermalright the other day. will give a look to this one too. thanks in your opinion is it better to take now that slower 16gb and in a 4-5 months upgrade to something like you said 5600 cl30 or just take that 32gb 5600 cl36?

little problem is I'm not from germany so I would need to bother friend for thermalright but I'll consider it since he will be sending pc, ordering on mindfactory. in your opinion would Corsair vengence expo 5600 cl36 be close to that g skill, since it's 20€ cheaper and I'm already out of budget...

that would be other option because i don't think it's worth 16gb 5600 cl36 for 100€ when it's for 25 more 32gb same speed, and I'm expecting this build to last 4-5 years at least probably just gpu upgrade in 2-3 years. Currently on 1080p 144hz but maybe I'll get 1440p 144hz when upgrading gpu...
