Ok, I've since reverted the amd driver back to 13.12 and my 2nd monitor started working again, as well as the sound. Not sure, maybe the newest AMD driver has problems supporting a passive miniDisplayport to DVI adapter? Anyway, it is much cooler in my computer room now, yet it still freezes...

OK, I tested with my GPU unhooked, and tried running some games off of the integrated graphics and it worked fine. Well, of course it was laggy because the GPU is much stronger, but at least it stayed up for more than 10 minutes. I've now got a fan on my GPU as well and it still crashes. Ughh...
