    Intel EIST disable/enable?

I have an Intel i5-4440 processor @ 3.1ghz, I was looking at some games under load and noticed the CPU was only at 2ghz/1.7ghz even sometimes in CSGO etc. With EIST disabled in the bios the game ran at the normal voltage and core speed. I recieved something like a 6-8fps boost on ultra in some...

    Memory voltage question

I see, but my CPU doesn't support XMP. Would this negate enabling the XMP for a minor performance increase? EDIT: Also my BIOS is displaying @ 1.5v my memory runs at 1600mhz still with XMP disabled. Would this be the case? It seems as if there would be no performance decrease

    Memory voltage question

So if my BIOS displays 1.5v as the DRAM voltage with XMP disabled, and 1.65v with it enabled this means that it is currently @ 1.5v? And not 1.65v? (With XMP disabled)

    Memory voltage question

My specs are (For reference): Intel-4440 @3.1-3.3(turbo) Gigabyte H87-HD3 HyperX Kingston CL9 1600mhz 1.5-1.65v 2x4gb Corsair 430W CXM Modular PSU I was told that running memory @ 1.65v can reduce the life of my specific model of CPU, I found out that XMP was enabled even though my processor...

    CPU temperature monitors correct?

Say if I couldn't get a new cooler for a month, would it be safe to run at these temperatures for now? Will it do any permanent damage or drastically reduce the lifespan?

    CPU temperature monitors correct?

I recently built a new PC specifically for gaming and initially the temps were 40C idle and anywhere from 80-90c even 92-93-94-95c in slow increments (Sometimes even 97!) in the prime95 max load test which obviously was unacceptable, I then proceeded to reseat the CPU heatsink to see if this...
