My father and I had recently built a mining rig, and while the building went smooth, we're having issues with it starting. On the first attempt, the psu would just make a click sound and the CPU fan would kick on then immediately turn back off. We tested the psu and it seems to be working fine...

Thanks both for your input! And as of now, I don't plan on overclocking, but maybe down the road as you said. Although by the time I'll be building this, the gtx 970 will be out which I plan on getting along with windows 9, i just got done reading about both.

Hi guys, I'm going to be buying parts for my first gaming rig soon, but I'm stuck where everyone else seems to be stuck at; intel/nvidia or amd/radeon? I can't figure out if an i5 4590 with an evga gtx 770 or an fx 8320 with a dd r9 290 would be better, for next gen? I know they both will work...
