He is correct though, you should be fine for normal usage, you really only hear about the PSU failures since they generally don't receive much coverage for "successful PSU's." Likely because all PSU's are expected to be fine ;p That setup shouldn't have issues.

Uninstall/remove the working one that is labelled 'Engineering Sample WDDM' - This should give you the proper representation of the same driver. It is basically just telling you that it's unfinished but functional enough to be released. It sounds like there was trouble amidst the conversion...
