i have a linksys e-1000 router.

okay so my motherboard (MSI z97 Gaming 5) included a CD in it, ive installed all the drivers i needed. but how do i connect to my router/modem? i have a Linksys E1000 Wireless router, is there a driver i need to install to connect to a network? could someone post a link if there is one? thanks

i read that a 3 pin can connect to a 4 pin, but the 4th pin is for fan control. do i need fan control? or will it just know when to speed up/speed down?
