[MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon] PC unstable in BSOD loop (insert USB often BSODs it too)

It's all sorted out, it ended up being a faulty CPU (can you believe it?). I got fed up with it all and took it to a repair shop and the CPU was crashing their other boards too. Intel expressed another one through RMA and they system has been rock solid since. It's a shame I had to pony up $165...

[MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon] PC unstable in BSOD loop (insert USB often BSODs it too)

Sorry, mate. I didn't get a notification of your reply. I wasn't able to have the PC stable long enough to perform any more error checks, sadly. We installed Windows fine with the SSD in another system and there were no errors whatsoever. In more recent news, I just got my mobo back from RA...

[MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon] PC unstable in BSOD loop (insert USB often BSODs it too)

A mate and I did this in a 6 hour troubleshooting session. Each time only 1 drive was connected at a time. I've just run Crystal Disk Mark and here are the results (extra link, the embedded one isn't showing up). I have no idea what they mean!

[MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon] PC unstable in BSOD loop (insert USB often BSODs it too)

Update: I ran sfc/scannow again and I got a few errors once it'd finished. Screenshot of Command Prompt and CBS.log. Could this just be a failing SSD after all? Are there any other checks you can do to stress an SSD or check it more thoroughly?

[MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon] PC unstable in BSOD loop (insert USB often BSODs it too)

Thanks again for the suggestion but I've already done those tests and they passed. I also updated the firmware last night and it made no difference. Yes, I have tried 2 older drives I had sitting around; 1 with win 7 that I know worked in my old system but that doesn't boot at all in this...

[MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon] PC unstable in BSOD loop (insert USB often BSODs it too)

In my hours of Googling the issue (like HamBrown81 said) the errors and search results point to either SSD or RAM. Both of mine are passing all of the checks I've performed so far. Is it possible that these are failing whilst validating all tests?

[MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon] PC unstable in BSOD loop (insert USB often BSODs it too)

Holy moly, you've been through quite the journey too. I'm in the same boat where I don't want to RMA it just yet because I feel like maybe there's a small detail we're missing, due to it being stable (again AFAIR) in Safe Mode. ARGH! hahaha Thanks for chiming in, dude.

[MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon] PC unstable in BSOD loop (insert USB often BSODs it too)

Yeah, that's what makes this so puzzling. It doesn't make sense, but I don't understand the codes and googling them hasn't helped thus far. I appreciate it, dude.

[MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon] PC unstable in BSOD loop (insert USB often BSODs it too)

@HamBrown81 Thanks for the reply but I think I've got both those suggestions covered already. I tried installing on 2 spare HDDs and they suffered the same way. I also removed old drivers with DDU and tested with onboard GFX only to get the same BSOD loop. It's not AMD related either it seems.

[MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon] PC unstable in BSOD loop (insert USB often BSODs it too)

Hey guys, I've got a brand new system and all of a sudden it's become unstable (and unusable) due to being stuck in a BSOD loop rotating between several different errors. Whilst testing components we noted that crashes were also caused when inserting a USB wifi dongle and/or flash drive. Any...
