This PC was already wiped about 3-6 months ago with similar issues. I dont think reinstalling the OS is the right answer. Im going to try and update all of the drivers while in safe mode but if anyone know what component it may be based on the BSOD info that would really be a huge time saver...

I wound up using clonezilla on a 1 TB hard drive that he bought after he had returned the 3TB hard drive. It worked like a charm. Thanks everyone!

Originally I used DriveImageXML, but I had the owner return the 3TB harddrives and get a couple 1TB. I also used Clonezilla this time around and it worked like a charm. Thanks for the help everyone!

Thanks for the link, I have seen this info before, and i was hoping there would be some way around it as i don't believe UEFI is a possibility with his setup. I suppose i will return these hard drives and try with two 1 TB hard drives. Thanks! I will report back with more info once ive tried it.

Yes, i unplugged the others before i tried booting from the newest one. At that point boot order shouldnt matter if i am not mistaken. Thanks for the response!
