Question How will Metro Exodus run on my PC?

Thank you for this reply, sorry I didn't respond sooner. So my little overclock on my CPU doesn't really net me any performance gains for this game? I am familiar and at the same time not very familiar with OCing. What could you surmise the game would run like if my CPU was at the stock 3.4ghz...

Question How will Metro Exodus run on my PC?

PC Specs: i5 4670k OC'd to 4.5ghz 16gb Ripjaws X Series DDR3 GTX 970 SC 4GB (3.5gb) Windows 7 I want to play at least on High and around 40-50FPS consistent in all areas (except for globally badly optimized spots that everyone will post...

    System Instability after OC (4670k)

Some new info. I went to work and I left my computer on (I just had it restart after my last crash and let it boot up and left) I came back to windows login, and of course windows reported an error to me. Apparently I'm still bluescreening during idle usage after a few hours. Does this help any...

    System Instability after OC (4670k)

Still unable to pass x264 for longer than 20 mins at the following values: 45x Multiplier Ring Multi 38x 1.285 Vcore (reporting as 1.296 actively in the bios) 2.0 Input voltage 1.200 Cache Ratio voltage (reporting as 1.23ish actively). I'm a little lost. Should I only be upping v vcore...

    System Instability after OC (4670k)

I've got an older case (Cooler Master Cosmos), I've got the 212 Evo pushing air into the exhaust fan which is sucking air out of the case. Is this essentially the same thing? Also one of my fans broke when I was cleaning them, but it barely spun anyway and I got 2 others which were also stopped...

    System Instability after OC (4670k)

I'm definitely still getting BSoD after about 40 mins in x264 stress. I changed some more values: 45x Multiplier 38x Ring Ratio 1.282 Vcore 1.9 Input Voltage I really don't know what else I should change to make it stable. It seems with each change it gets more and more stable, but at this...

    System Instability after OC (4670k)

Another thing to add, my idle temps at 4.5ghz are currently like 34c according to Core Temp, so I'd say temp wise I'm completely nominal.

    System Instability after OC (4670k)

I'll post specs first then get into specifics. i5 4670k Z87-GD65 MSi Mobo 16GB Ripjaws X Series 1600mhz GTX 970 SC I've been aiming for 4.6ghz, but right now I'm still trying to get 4.5ghz stable. I got the bluescreens on boot to stop, now the system can emulate Breath of The Wild using CEMU...

    WD Black 5TB WD5001FZWX vs Seagate STBD6000100 6TB

I have a Cosmos I case that I got secondhand, but I believe it has screwless bays if I remember correctly. I may need to order another sata cable if I can't find my mobo box. Now, the WD Black 5 and 6tb come with a 128mb cache, is this noticeable over the 64mb cache?

    WD Black 5TB WD5001FZWX vs Seagate STBD6000100 6TB

So, I think I'm going with the 5tb, but now I face a different problem. Amazon tells me that they ship with the HDD only, and that it does not come with cables or mounting supplies, however, new egg does not mention this at all. What exactly do I need to get to mount it? Or are there ones that...

    WD Black 5TB WD5001FZWX vs Seagate STBD6000100 6TB

Well, That's what I thought until I read this. Even though this is comparing WD red and not black, and it still shows the WD lasting longer in service, but it has a higher failure rate and took much longer to fill to capacity. https://www.backblaze.com/blog/our-6tb-hard-drive-face-off-revisited/
