the problems mostly fixed i think, i just got one more question i enable vsync in every game i play due to my refresh rate, is it normal for my pc to drop a few frames with vsync enabled for example from 60 to 57 thats the largest im pretty sure. sorry for reopening this thing i know its been a...

alright i did that and i think its improved, i still get sketchy frames in call of duty but i hear the games poorly optimised, the other games i tried seem to work good, thanks a lot for your help i really appreciate it.

i gave over clocking a go and it seemed to fix my frame issue, seems a bit dodgy that i had to do that, is it possible for them to have given me an under-clocked card or something? i also installed the driver booster thing and went through that but i overclocked and tried it afterwards before...

i thought i solved it, i definitely improved it by reinstalling new drivers however i still get pretty minuscule frame drops from 60 to about 51 that feels pretty choppy and also after about half an hour or so of playing i get extreme frame drops for about 2 to five seconds and then it returns...

I fixed it!! i realised when it froze that the audio bugged out, so i reinstalled all my drivers/ the audio drivers and now its pretty good.
