Thanks for the feedback, I tried with only one 8 GB card and switching the modules and alternately clearing CMOS, it works .. but unfortunately does not work as soon as i put the other module. - Booting with one 8GB module works - As soon as I add the other module it does not work - peculiar...

The 2x8 GB Crucial memory modules are from a kit. I bought 16GB (2x8) kit. Crucial 16GB Kit (8GBx2) DDR3/DDR3L 1866 MT/s (PC3-14900) SODIMM 204-Pin Memory - CT2K102464BF186D

I have bought Asrock J3455-ITX combo motherboard, which says DDR3L 1866 So-DIMM, I am using Crucial 2-8GB DDR3L-1866 SODIMM 1.35 CL13. The machine does not boot. I tried with old 2-4GB (DDR3-1333) working perfectly alright. What is it wrong.. why the specification mentioned in the motherboard...
