AMD gpu works only with intel drivers

I'm not sure why the device manager would should show an AMD card as an Intel 4400, that is bizarre. I guess if it works as is then that's a good thing.

    USB malfunctioned Error

If it only happens to this one device, and happens in every usb port occasionally I would suspect your drive is on its way out rather than a driver issue. Not being recognized by windows should not affect any of your data. Its always a good idea to use the eject disk option in your task bar when...

AMD gpu works only with intel drivers

If you haven't loaded any AMD drivers then it is most likely using the basic windows supplied drivers for your card, not the intel. I imagine the intel drivers are for your onboard video. You can try updating the AMD drivers, you may get some extra performance plus a few extra features.

Good read speeds, 1.5 Mb/s write speed SSD

If it is a SATA drive, try plugging it into a different SATA port on your motherboard( preferably port 1 or 2 if its not already) and rerun the benchmark.

Cryptocurrencies Tumble After SEC's 'Unlawful' Exchanges Statement

While the Binance "hack" and possibly the SEC ruling in the USA had some effect on the prices I'm sure, the main reason for Bitcoin dropping (yet again) yesterday and since December of 2017 was the trustee of the Mt. Gox bankruptcy dumping thousands of Bitcoin at different times to repay...

    Case cable confusion

Yes that would be the fan hub, that looks like a high end case. I have an NZXT 440 with a similar setup. The black is molex power to the hub and the white connects to one of the fan controllers on the motherboard. You can then have a bunch of fans connected to the hub and control all of their...

    Case cable confusion

Hi, its kind of tough to make out in the picture where it goes. Have you tried to follow the wire to its component? It may be power for the fan hub, lighting, etc. Its hard to tell from the picture. What model case is that? You *should* be able to daisy chain molex connectors no...

    Asus X99a running my 960 pro with 2 x 4 interface

No problem man, glad it worked out for you! It is a shame you had to spend more money to get the rated speed, but at least it wasn't a new mobo. I think ASUS should really clarify it a bit better in the manual.

PC unable to boot after installing 3rd RAM stick

As long as the motherboard is compatible with the type and frequency of the ram it should work, and it looks like that ram should work on that board at the rated speed of 1066mhz so I agree it sounds like a bad stick unfortunately.

PC unable to boot after installing 3rd RAM stick

Hi, You need to figure out if the new ram is bad, it does happen. Best thing to do is remove all ram and add only the new stick you bought. If computer boots to windows successfully then its not a bad stick and most likely a conflict between your old and new ram or a configuration issue and you...

    Asus X99a running my 960 pro with 2 x 4 interface

Hi, it looks like your board does not support M.2 at pcie 3.0 x4 through the M.2 slot http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2912903/asus-x99-slot.html The manual is definitely not very clear on this but you SHOULD (not for sure as I don't have the same setup) get the full speed by getting a...

PC unable to boot after installing 3rd RAM stick

Hello, it should be fairly easy to figure out if it's your ram or a configuration problem. If your new ram is the correct type you could replace one of the old sticks with the new stick to make sure it is functional. If it does boot, make sure it shows the correct amount of ram on the boot...

    Need help for installation! Help!!

hi, congratz on your new card! Was your old power supply too small or are you missing the 6 pin vga cable? If you're missing the connection to the video card and your existing power supply is large enough, you can get an adapter that attaches to 2 of the molex connectors. It is not ideal but...

Are these parts a good combo?

hi there, the only thing I can see is maybe adding another stick of ram to enable dual channel memory. 2x4gig or 2x8 if you can afford it. Also Ryzen responds really well to higher clocked memory so depending on your mobo compatibility the higher the better. I believe ASRock has a page that...
