I take it no prob on the HDD SDD switch and that HDD may be corrupted since aptio setup utility can't find anything to setup. The link to Amazon and transfer cable calls for USB 3, is there a port for this 3.0 on the Asus s400 ca? Mattios, thanks for the help.

My two year old S400CA has crashed three times, the most recent sends me to the aptio setup utility and nowhere else, trying f9, f3,f2. My sense is that my hard drive is corrupted in some way and that a reset to the original state, done once already, will eventually lead to the same problem...
