News Buried Steam tool shows how much you've spent on your account in your lifetime

This isn't going to be totally accurate for anyone who's used any third party sites like GreenManGaming, Fanatical, Humble Bundle... none of those activated keys will tally against money spent directly on Steam so your total will invariably be higher than shown.

News You can now play a real-time AI-rendered Quake II in your browser — Microsoft's WHAMM offers generative AI for games

This is a concerning step down a really dark road and we should NOT be celebrating it.

News GPU cooling supplier claims Nvidia RTX 50-series GPUs will "seize the whole market starting in December" — Auras says key components like cold pl...

For what it's worth I don't think the comment that Nvidia GPUS will "seize the whole market starting in December" is a prediction of a release date. This person's industry is supplying cooling solutions. I think he means that his market, cooling solutions, will be seized by GPU makers putting...

News Diamond-cooled GPUs are coming soon — startup claims 20C temp reduction, 25% more overclocking headroom as it seeks US govt funding for diamond-enc...

The sentence "Akash does not detail exactly how its diamond cooling technology works", directly under a video titled "Akash Systems - How Our Technology Works" is pure gold. It really doesn't explain anything other than the fact that diamond conducts heat well.

News GTA IV footage generated with AI shows the power of AI for future PC game remasters

I feel like there is a HUGE difference between an AI-modified video file (as this is) and "Using AI to remaster games". This article is incredibly misleading.

News Nvidia addresses significant Blackwell yield issues, production ramps in Q4

The low yields they are talking about are for the datacenter parts, which would not be downbinned as gaming parts. They are not the same. We are still waiting for any kind of news on the gaming parts.

News Nvidia Blackwell GPUs allegedly delayed due to design flaws — launch expected to be pushed back by three months or more

Can we start calling the datacenter/AI/server parts by any other name than "GPU"? It gets real confusing, and it's not as if they actually are used to process graphics in any relevant amount.

News Cooler Master's new AIO and air coolers can dissipate 300W of heat and beyond

It's the space directly above the CPU. Why does it matter if it's taller? It's not like anything else needs to go in that space.

News Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 Shows Up in Early Retail Listings

There is absolutely no way those are final prices, since the Aorus card is listed cheaper than the Gaming OC, which is lower in Gigabyte's stack. I can't speculate on what the final prices will be, but it won't be those.
