    that's what I was thinking 1-2 hundred more dollars and I could probably get an i5 and a decent mobo, mainly because I have to upgrade my motherboard is the reason I am completely upgrading otherwise I would have just bought a new cpu

    I actually figured it out and it was really simple; I opened up the back of my case (behind the motherboard) and I noticed that the plastic retinition was slanted towards the two screws that managed screw in.     It wasn't long ago when I installed a new fan for my CPU from the broken one I had and when I was mounting it on my mobo I screwed the two top screws but when I got to the bottom I noticed I wasn't able to screw them in.
