I think I figured it out. In win 7, I went into the "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" properties --> Advanced and unchecked the "Automatic Metric" checkbox. I entered "30" for the metric to make it rank lower than the other interface (which is "21"). It seems to work so far...
