I changed the CMOS.It's Sunday so the thermal ,i will try tomorrow.I read somewhere that there are certain configurations about the pair of slots eg you need to have occupied the first pair in order to expand to the 3,4 slots but isn't the dual channel thingy supposed to be working at "1,3 2,4"...

I resurrected a PC i had in storage for a long time and i'm having an issue with a DDR slot maybe two.When i insert a memory stick to any slot (of the right pair ) my computer does not boot at all.. I tested the sticks with Memtest 86 overnight and no problems whatsoever so it must be the ports...
