As in take out the RAM sticks and put them in again? I have taken out both sticks and tried putting them back in 1 at a time, testing both sticks in all slots, to no avail.

That's 2 short beeps. I have exactly 2 distinctly long beeps. No short beeps, and no beeps before or after the 2 long ones.
