It's worth a try, order the connector on eBay (like 5$) and rip it apart (carefully!). That way you know for sure!

Depends on whether or not you have files you need on the windows 8.1 drive. If you do then boot up in 8.1 and send them to the 10 drive, then you can boot in 10 and wipe the 8.1 disk. Otherwise take the 8.1 drive out of the boot order in your BIOS (or try to :p).
