Cpu usage

Hi, ive had my p4 3.2ghz prescott skt478 for a while and ive noticed during certain games and when converting video files (from .avi to mpeg4) my cpu usage is only about 50%. Also the usage is all on the left side of the graph when using software to show cpu usage. The right hand side is only...

Sata data transfer rate

HI, i recently bought a SATA Maxtor diamondmax plus 10, 120gig and it is an improvement from my old 40gig ide. I ran sandra to test the transfer rate it it says i am only getting 50 meg per second. Is this normal as i would have expected it to be faster? Thanks.
