So i recently purchased a new system. with that system i got the z170 WS motherboard. this houses a lga 1151 sized chip. i have a intel i7 7700k 4.2ghz. this motherboard for whatever reason is only push pin compatible for the cpu fan. any recommendations?

So my new card is a Evga gtx 1080 hybrid. it has a 8 pin port for power on it. it comes with a pcie cable to plug into it. but can i just plug a 6+2 vga cable into the 8 pin port instead?

Hello. Im installing a new graphics card. The card has the 8pin port on it for the 8 pin PCIE cable. at the end where the pcie cable gets power is a 6 pin port. the vga cable that gives that power has a 6pin and a 2 pin attached. do i just stick the 6 pin in and do nothing with the 2 pin? anjd...
