Should I upgrade to gtx 970?

Hi guys, I built my computer last year and bought a Asus gtx 770 2gb last year. Recently I bought a second screen (both 1080p) but I still only play games on one screen. Though I often watch Twitch or YouTube videos on the other screen and I have remarked a drop of fps. I currently have an...

    Canadian Winter Build help

I agree with animal on the power supply. Also do you plan on overclocking alot? Because if not a Coolermaster hyper 212 evo should suffice your needs and save sort of 70$. Also i dont always hear good things on msi mobo. But heard good reviews of the G45. Dont forget an operating system and...

    HomeBuild Gaming PC

Your cpu will not bottleneck your gpu. Your psu is more than enough for 1 gpu. Though if you plan on crossfire/sli in teh future (2 gpu) you might need more. The stock cooler is enough if you dont overclock. Imo id go with the gtx 770. But whatever gpu you pick youll be happy. An ssd is always...

    New build. Constructive Criticism appreciated.

I agree that a Cooler master hyper 212 would be very nice too. I dont know if you have one but dont forget the 1tb hard drive. I dont think that the 128gb ssd will be enough. 8gb of ram would be better and ddr3 1600 is enough you wont notice any difference. Also i dont see any optial drive. You...

Need Help Building A New Computer. Please Help. (Noob)

A cpu comes with a stock heatsink but you might want to consider an aftermarket heatsink since they perform bettr than the oem that comes with the cpu. Cooler master evo 212 is a good one or under 30$

Gaming Desktop Build that can play Skyrim, Elder Scrolls Online, etc...

I agree with 16gb. Though there is a small bump in fps for the i7. Is it worth the extra cash that depends on the buyer and him only. I agree that he has the budget for a 780 thou.

Gaming Desktop Build that can play Skyrim, Elder Scrolls Online, etc...

Id go with something like this. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2ia6b I could of put the i5 4670k instead of the i7 4770k but it fits in your budget and there is a small bump in fps. Good mobo with cheap and good cpu cooler. You could go liquid cooling but i never went that way so i dont really know...

Did I order a good motherboard? feel like I didn't.

Then 8gb is sufficient. If you dont do like video editing and those type of things more than 8gb is useless. Maybe later on games will use more than 8gb but for now you can stick to 8.

Did I order a good motherboard? feel like I didn't.

Did I order a good motherboard? feel like I didn't.

Were you planning on using more than 16gb of ram on that computer? And you probably wont see a big diff between speeds of ram. If it says it supports A8 and A10 then you should be okay.
