Thanks for the replies guys. One last question: When I take out my old processor and put in my new one, do I have to apply new thermal compound on the new processor and then put the heatsink on?

Hi there, I'm finally decided to upgrade my Athlon X2 4200+ and i agreed upon the Athlon X2 6000+. Since I will have to keep my old heatsink (I have a Dell E521), I figured I can just buy a OEM CPU. I found two eBay buy it nows for what I think are the exact same CPU's. Now I am not too sure...
