Discussion Is it just me or do AMD GPUs just not feel interesting anymore ?

The software/tech from AMD has become stale and they have not introduced anything "New" in terms of advancing display/visual tech in quite a while. So I feel AMD is just playing the catch up to the leader game and has not focused enough on pushing "New" ideas into the GPU sector. If you view...

Testing the impact of liquid cooling on Intel’s Core Ultra 7 265K using the Tryx Panorama 240

I think it would be interesting to see the advantages of water cooling on the AMD 9800X3D in regard's to power consumption also. I'd be a nice comparison between AMD and Intel's offerings. It's interesting that dropping the temps lowers it power consumption. This means that the higher the...

My gaming PC has run Win 11 since I built it so I personally don't have issues there but my laptop, a 2012-'13 vintage is where the update affects me. Getting updates is the main reason for the want to upgrade it to Win 11. I never use Microsoft support even on my gaming PC, google is better...

News UserBenchmark suggests you buy the i5-13600K over the Ryzen 7 9800X3D — says AMD drives sales with 'aggressive marketing' rather than 'real-world p...

I apologize for the misspelling, while I was writing this I had the GF yapping in my ear and you really should have read it before I edited it as auto correct changed unparalleled to unapparelled. While editing the GF was still yapping in my ear. It's a good question. I personally prefer to use...

This is totally opinion based on my end, This article and charts, UserBenchmarks, were put together by Intel fans boys that are having issues with the fact that AMD has now found, for the time being, a solution that gives it unpearalleled performance in gaming scenario's . Even TomsHardware...

I wonder if Tom's is going to test the 5000 series to see if there was actually any improvement on these older Zen 3 processors. Installed fine for me but I have an older system. PC specs in my sig.

Question Monitor disconnects and reconnects while gaming ?

Possible issue with the cable connecting the GPU to the monitor. If you have one try changing the cable to see if it changes its behavior.

Discussion System requiring heat to boot up and then system booted itself after half an hour.

The paper clip method ONLY checks to see if the PSU will power up not that it is sending the proper voltage or amps to its connectors.

Discussion What we used to see VS. What we now see in reviews.

I absolutely see your point with your statement. There are far to many AIB's out there for one company to cover them all where in the past each reviewer was able to cover 3-4 GPU's. At this point AIB's sent out the same GPU to multiple reviewers so some reviewers would cover the same GPU but...

Discussion What we used to see VS. What we now see in reviews.

And this is why I said and I Quote: I Understand that testing mutli GPU's of the same kind, especially the obscene priced highest tear, GPU's would be extremely expensive. Only as of late has the price of these GPU's gone into the stratosphere and more so after covid hit where people kept...

Discussion What we used to see VS. What we now see in reviews.

Back in the 2000's and in the 2010's I think we had a better understanding of how GPU's sat performance wise in a given series. Review sites used to be able to afford or with help from the manufactures, get there hands on different brands of the same GPU's to do side by side comparisons. This...
