I have a prebuilt machine with a off brand 4gb 1866mhz ddr4 ram stick. Now I'm looking to upgrade it to 8gb. Can i buy another 4gb stick with the same clock speed and will it work just fine?

it will work just fine :P but after a month or two change your psu for safety measures.

it'd work just fine, but i recommand getting a newer power supply from a reliable brand like evga or anyother brand you'd like. or just get the version that doesnt require a psu connector.

i agree with your points that an i3 is the bare minimum for modern AAA titles like battlefield 1 for example. but what about the skylake pentiums? i know it doesn't perform well in modern games but when will the dual core processors like the pentium will not be considered by gamers?
